Norwich Road, Horsford

The site extends to 3.76 ha and is located on the south side of Horsford at the entrance to the village and close to the new Norwich northern distributor road. From a planning perspective the application process was relatively straightforward, the only significant issues we had to deal with being the proximity of a listed building and the need to provide sufficient buffer to protect the building and its curtilage, the potential presence of archaeological remains and designing a new access to account for the presence of underground services.  
 
Outline planning permission was granted for 84 units and the site was subsequently offered for sale in the open market. It attracted a strong level of interest following which a sale was agreed to Cripps Developments and the site has now been built out.
